Ann Henderson Hall

Level 4 NISA licensed Coach

Ann was born in London and took up ice skating at a very early age. Ann has had a very successful career as an ice skater and is now a successful coach.

In 1990 Ann achieved the title of British Ice Dance Champion, which led to Ann competing in both the 1990 and 1991 European and World Championships. Ann has competed in many international competitions representing Great Britain around the world.

Ann began her coaching career in 1993 and has achieved a lot of success in Aberdeen. Ann coached Jamie Fergusson and Sinead Kerr, leading them to 3rd place in the British Junior dance Championships in 1994. The following year Ann took them to the Championships, where they competed and finished as junior champions. Ann then took them to Youth Olympics, Junior Internationals and Junior World Championships.

Ann also coached Ally Mackie and his partner Jessica and took them to 5th place in the British Junior Ice Dance Championships.

Ann has since mentored many of her pupils to become ice skating coaches, including, Ally Mackie, Claire Frost, Gillian Smith and Nick Mellies.

Ann currently has several pupils who she has coached to level 8 and 9 standard who actively compete in England and Scotland.

In summary, Ann has a vast experience and knowledge both as a former British Ice Dance Champion and now a successful coach.
